Kung Fu FIGHT! now on WP7

The Windows Phone 7 version of Kung Fu FIGHT! is now available!

I was worried about how it would translate to the phone, but it runs really well - even with the downgrade to 30fps.

I was also concerned about the touch controls, but that ended up not being a problem.

If anything, I think I might prefer the phone version to the Xbox one - it works really well with the "pick up and play for a bit" affordance that the handheld device offers.

If you have a Windows phone, you can grab it here:

  1. Fantastic game! The controls and difficulty are both set perfectly.

The one thing I would say is that I would love it more if it had a few more starting points. I mean, I play it on my commute but I never reach the next starting checkpoint by the time I've reached my destination so ended up playing the same bits again and again.

  2. Thanks - glad you enjoyed it!

I'm considering making an update that saves your last checkpoint between sessions. Not as "old-school", but I think it would better suit the way people play the game - particularly on the phone.

  3. The free version of this game says a network connection is required in order to play this game.
I've set my phone back to factory settings, reinstalled the game, updated my phone. Nothing works. Check the comments in marketplace. I'm not the only one with this problem. Wp7.5 and 7.8 on lumia 800. please help. Vince

    1. Not sure what the problem could be. Sorry. You can always try the paid version of the game. It doesn't require a network connection and the first half or so of the game is free in the trial.
